CELEBRATE WITH US - After 31 years, this year will be Roger Gibson's final Film Festival as Artistic Director. This Festival is dedicated to the late great film critic Derek Malcolm (1932 - 2023).

He promises the best Festival ever, with the usual array of premieres and previews (over 25 UK Premieres this year) from around the world; a variety of retrospectives - including Hugh Bonneville, Cate Blanchett and Jean-Luc Godard; enlightening talks; Silent Cinema; open-air screenings; special guests; and so much more.

About the festival

For 21 days each summer, the Chichester International Film Festival brings the best in cinema from the UK and abroad to the south coast of England.

Featuring an outstanding variety of films and talks, including UK premieres and previews, retrospectives on the world’s best filmmakers, treasures from the archives, and an exciting array of special events such as filmmaker Q&A’s (Alec Guinness, Ralph Fiennes, Kathleen Turner, Derek Jacobi for starters), open-air screenings and silent films accompanied by live music.
