Priory Park

This has been the location of our Open Air Screenings for 11 years, and we can screen from any format - so unlike most open air providers, we can screen brand new films. Capacity is 1,000.
Bring a picnic basket, blanket or chair, and be part of one of the most fun events in the Festival.
For 2022, we present Asteroid City, Indiana Jones & the Dial of Destiny and Elementalr.

The Guildhall

After its debut in 2021 - hosting two films with live music - we are back at the Guildhall with a special screening.
Screening from BluRay/DVD, this beautiful and historic room (poet & artist William Blake was on trial at the Guildhall in 1804) holds 60-90 people.

Picture Palace

A 1920's wheat thresher forms the base for this 'gypsy' caravan turned into a 13-15 seat cinema.
Original 1940's cinema fittings and nine original film-based paintings complete the quirkiest cinema screen on the south coast. Screens from BluRay and DVD.

St. John's Chapel

St John’s Chapel is a rare example of a Georgian proprietary chapel, and home to our Silent Films with live musical accompaniment since 2012. A gothic venue with wonderful atmosphere.
