Festival Venues 2024

The auditorium at New Park is the central location for the Film Festival. It seats 115 people and is equipped with all the latest cinema projection technology. There will be five screenings per day during the 2024 Film Festival, including the Opening and Closing Galas.

The Studio will screen three to five films per day throughout the 2024 Festival. The capacity is 40, and screenings will be sourced from either BluRay, DVD, MP4 or direct stream from the Distributor.

This has been the location of our Open Air Screenings for 12 years. Capacity is 1,000.
Bring a picnic basket, blanket or chair and be part of one of the most fun events in the Festival.
For 2024, we present Barbie, The Lego Movie, Dirty Dancing, Wonka (in aid of Stonepillow) and Stop Making Sense.

Parking: The closest parking is the Northgate Car Park and the New Park Road Car Park.
Access: The park is fully accessible

St John’s Chapel is a rare example of a Georgian proprietary chapel, and home to our Silent Films with live musical accompaniment since 2012. A gothic venue with wonderful atmosphere. This year we present Underground accompanied by the band HarmonieBand.

Parking: There is no dedicated parking for St John's but the Cattle Market car park a 5 minute's walk away with plenty of space - https://www.chichester.gov.uk/carparks.
Access: The chapel is fully accessible via a ramp at the main entrance

Open again after a year of refurbishment following the fire in 2024, this much loved local cinema will play host to five screenings. 'Guys and Dolls', 'Firebrand', The Outrun', 'Reawakening' and 'Sing Sing'.

Parking: There is a pay-and-display car park in front of the cinema. THE CAR PARK IS FREE AFTER 6pm EVERY DAY. There are a number of disabled parking bays near the cinema entrance & parking is free for Blue Badge holders
Access: 4 wheelchair spaces which can be booked in person and online. The wheelchair spaces at both ends of the front row on a flat floor. Access flat throughout. Disabled toilet. Induction loop in auditorium

The beating cultural heart of the community, this lovely, welcoming café bar, museum and intimate yet spacious auditorium will present this year’s silent classic Sherlock Junior accompanied by Buster Plays Buster.

Parking: Pay and Display. Spaces are limited so allow extra time to secure a space.
Access: All Areas Accessible to Disabled Visitors. Facilities for Hearing Impaired Visitors. Guide Dogs Permitted

As part of our MGM/Columbia centenary celebrations, the Chichester City Band will present a concert here, celebrating 100 Years of Film Music

Parking: Free parking for church users. Additional parking is just across the road in the pay & display
Access: Ramped entrance to the church & full accessible toilet

The third screen at the New Park Centre. It may be the smallest (13 seats) but more than makes up for it with it's Shepherd Hut design and original 1940's cinema fittings (seats, lights etc).
